"TEACHING ENGLISH VOCABULARY THROUGH DIALOGUE (A Classroom Action Research at the 7th Grade of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al- Husna Depok)"

ABSTRACT


Izzah Kamalia (31160181), Teaching English Vocabulary Through 

Dialogue (A Classroom Action Research at the 7th Grade Students of

Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Husna Depok). 

The objective of this study was to determine the advantages and the problems of teaching

vocabulary through dialogue. Because this method is an appropriate method to teach

vocabulary. This research was conducted in 7th grade Mts Al-Husna Depok in the 2018/2019

academic year. The data were collected through a process of observing and teaching. This

research contains planning about how to improve vocabulary mastery through dialogue. The

results of this study indicated that: (1) Teaching English through dialogue has several

advantages such as to help and develop students' vocabulary in learning and remembering

new vocabulary that they do not know yet. Learning dialogue is also useful to make students

are able to speak and to talk in English in accordance with the vocabulary they get and hope

that it will improve their speaking skills. (2)  In addition, teaching English vocabulary also

have some problems, problems that are occured such as the teacher must prepare various

types of dialogue for each meeting. So, it can be said that teaching through dialogue can be

applied in learning English vocabulary.
